Dr. Grant Trunnell is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Trunnell, a General Dentist, enjoys getting to know his patients and putting them at ease prior to treatment. 

Prior to joining Prairie View, and while still in Iowa, Dr. Trunnell focused on providing dental care to underserved populations through various volunteer programs and particularly enjoyed working with children and elderly patients.

Also a U.S. Navy veteran, Dr. Trunnell served five years on active duty prior to attending dental school, deploying twice to the Persian Gulf on board the USS McFaul during Operation Enduring Freedom & Iraqi Freedom.

Dr. Trunnell appreciates time spent with his wife Kelly and three children, Grace, Kiera and Patrick. Originally from an Iowa farming family, he also enjoys working outdoors, reading, and travel.

Dr. Trunnell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
